You know sometimes I have remember how lucky I am. We do so many fun things each weekend. And we are so lucky to live here. Where else can you have a picnic on the beach in January? And honestly even in July unless we were on vacation? We live so close to the beach and there are so many wonderful and beautiful things to do. Yesterday we went to Point Dume near Malibu. See the picture: the right rock is where people rock climb and to the left is where the trail head starts.
First we started with a picnic lunch.

Then we were off. I love this picture. Harrison looks like he is trying to walk all cool. And check out the background!! It looks like a postcard.

It was a nice walk even for the boys. There is a lookout where you can see whales and seals. And at the bottom there are tidepools. There was only one scary part that I clung to the boys. This was it.
After our hike, we came back to the beach and played some football. Then we headed to Paradise Cove for dinner on the beach. Really, dinner on the beach?! Yes, again how lucky. I want to remember this is like a vacation and not normal for anywhere else we have lived.
