Well it's been a fun relaxing weekend. Friday night we went to Scott's graduation for his boot camp. Work out boot camp, not military boot camp. It's been a tough 6 weeks but we are proud of him! Saturday was laid back. Sunday was the usual with church followed by naps. But afterwards we went to the Cajun Creole Festival in Simi Valley. It was really fun. They had lots of foods and bands. Plus slides and jumpers for the little ones. Of-course the little guys weren't shy and danced for everyone. We had some good jambalaya, shrimp poor boys and my favorite, funnel cake. Lots of fun for us. We want to wish a happy birthday to Gramma Archer and our thoughts are with my good friend Kara who is being induced today to meet her precious little boy.

Hi Jymme-lyn and Scott,
I haven't read your blog in a while and can't believe how busy you've been with boot camp-(how cool)your anniversary weekend, your Mom, Scott's 30th birthday, etc. You are truly enjoying all that life has to offer in California!!David had an interview a couple weeks ago in Riverside, California, but the job was in a crisis situation and he didn't feel it was in his or our best interest to pursue it any further. We were excited that we might be somewhat close to you guys, but it wasn't the right fit.David has been job searching for almost 5 months and has 5 recruiters, contacts, etc, but the construction industry is moving very slowly. I guess Steve,Nita, and the girls are coming out this weekend so I'm sure the boys will be excited to see them!! Grandpa Harry has been so busy I can rarely catch him during the day and have to call him in the evenings! Ha! By the way David thought that was the coolest tool box he'd ever seen! Take care! Love, Uncle David, and Aunt Loralyn(Lolly)
