It is so nice to have Scott home on the weekends. He is travelling so much with work right now. This week he is actually home thank goodness but heads back to Chicago next week. Our weekend was very nice and relaxing. We first went to Albertsons (our local grocer) for Easter fun. My camera card was corrupted and for some reason I can’t pull the pictures off of it. If anyone knows how to fix it, please shoot me an email :) Luckily the store took pictures too. Here are the boys with the Easter Bunny.
They had an egg hunt, played games and made crafts. Then we had to head over to Enterprise to pick up a car.
I have to laugh because the boys wanted Grandpa to be here because at-least when he comes, he always rents a van! But they soon thought the car was cool too. We had to get a car because our truck looks like this…
You are probably thinking, didn’t they just get the truck fixed after Scott backed it into a car at Motorcross a month ago? Yes you are right but he had a little fender bender at the airport a couple weeks ago too. Talk about bad luck or lack of sleep. The gate would not go up leaving the parking lot and the attendant was directing Scott backwards. Well neither one of them saw the pole on his passenger side and the rest is history. The nice thing is the attendant felt so bad that he didn’t charge Scott for the week worth of parking (or the guy behind Scott who works with him because Scott was paying for him too). But seeing that an executive saw it happen, Scott’s new nickname at work is “Crash.”
I had a gift certificate to Chuys so we went there for lunch. The boys had fun playing and making new friends.
We went shopping afterwards for Easter outfits. The boys found these cool “super secret spy hats.”
And they talked Scott into carrying them in the rain :)
Sunday, we went to church and then relaxed around the house. That is when both William and Scott started getting sick. Hopefully they are over it now and Harry and I can dodge that bullet. All in all, it was a very fun weekend with my boys :)
