Family Vacation 2012

With me still looking for a job, we couldn’t do a bigger vacation this year so we headed back to Palm Desert.  Luckily we had enough Marriott reward points so it worked out perfect.  And all the boys really need is a bed to jump on and a pool to swim in.  And all Scott and I need is a break from everyday life.  So it turned out perfect.  We left early Thursday morning and came back Sunday evening.  We all had a great time.  All we did was swim, swim, swim. 

 

And of-course that wore them out!!!  Harry came up to give me a hug and when I looked over, he was fast asleep!   So of-course Mister Sweet himself had to come over and give him a hug and kiss.   And then Scott ended up taking a nap himself with Harry.

 

We had a kitchenette in our room so we were lucky enough to bring all of our food to eat on the trip except one night we took the boys to Mikado because they remembered last year the guy throwing food at Scott’s face.  Harry brought it up a full month before our vacation that he wanted to go back and see if Daddy could catch the food again!  He did! 

  and don’t they look so sharp!    After we ate, we took a boat ride.  This is William being silly with the camera.  We had incentives to help the boys behave (not that they are ever out of control ha ha ha).  I wrapped gifts from the Dollar Store.  That did the trick. 

As if we didn’t get enough swimming during the day, they had a dive-in movie every night that we went to.  We seriously swam from the moment we woke up till bedtime. 

       

 

And of-course the boys ended up taking naps every day!  And if you know the Archer boys, they do NOT nap so this was huge!

I think it was a hit!
