Typically NO! They are so much work and then you have to deal with people stealing stuff, changing stickers and thinking that your $80 unused Nike shoes are too expensively priced at 50 cents and want a better bargain. But we did make fun of it. We had a 4 family sale and boy was it huge!
We had a lot of traffic and I am considering doing another this weekend just for a couple hours because we had so much traffic. It doesn’t hurt to make a little extra money while purging out stuff. The boys had a lemonade stand. How cute are they?!
I have to tell you the William was the best salesman. When all the other kids went inside to play, he sat there by himself waiting for customers. And when new people showed up, he would stand up and hold his sign proudly over his head. And sometimes he would follow people around with his sign :) Ha.
After a long hot productive day, we had a nice dinner with our friends (who had the sale with us). We had a nice dinner and relaxed in the pool and hot tub.
And at the end of the day, we all passed out from exhaustion :)
