Rough and Tough
We watched Addison yesterday. All three of them had a blast together as usual. I think she may have been a little shocked to see how rough Harrison and Will play. Check out the Cars truck. It is knocked over and if you look close, you can see William underneath Harry :)
The horsey is always a favorite.

Toddler Talk
Harrison: "Ball! Ball! Ball!"
William: "No Harry, that's a caminope!" (Cantaloupe)
William: "Harry, don't hit me! No Harry!"
Me: Looking at Harry right next to me as William is in his room
William: "Ouch ouch ouch!"
Do you think he is trying to get his brother in trouble?

Men at work
"He was worth the cover!"
After church yesterday, we went to a Country Music Festival and Chili Cook Off. It was small but fun. {Side note: I am seriously going to find the next chili cook off and enter. Mine is so much better than all these we have tried at these cook offs. } Back to the post. So we had fun tasting chili and dancing. Here is a picture of William dancing with Scott.
And the boys playing together.
And Scott with Harrison.
Harrison is a little flirt. Everywhere we go, he is not the shy one. He will walk up to anyone and "talk" to them. Well there was this cute couple sitting next to us. Harrison would find them surprises (grass, leaves, trash, etc) and give it to them like they just won something huge! They loved it. When the band would start up, he would start dancing for them. So when it was time for us to leave, the couple said, "He was worth the cover!" My little entertainer :)
Another side note: Harrison is a slow talker. Meaning he hasn't said much of anything since his big brother talks for him. All he has said is "dis" or "dat." I wasn't worried at all even though William said a lot at his age last year. Harrison is such a good communicator that it didn't worry me. But here we go. I will never get a word in between the two of them. Harrison is starting to talk (actual words, not babbling). Apple, phone, mamma, dadda, Belle and Bubba are heard frequently now. He is so darn cute. His voice is so quiet and sweet sounding:)

A perfect dog
A perfect dog or a perfect day? I couldn't decide on the title of this post because I have both. I'm sure if you are a reader of this blog, you can figure out that we go to the beach every weekend. Today was absolutely perfect. The temperature was perfect. It wasn't crowded. The water was nice. We played in the water and sand. We found sand crabs. We played soccer on the beach. We played catch with the football. It was perfect. We decided to get crazy and take Miss Belle with us today. We were a little hesitant but it turned out great.
Belle really does get the "short end of the stick." She doesn't get as much attention as she used to and she doesn't have a big back yard. She no longer has her boyfriends (from Utah). And she puts up with a lot from the boys everyday (tackling her, hitting her, etc). They do love her though. They are just rough!
Well little Miss Belle had a great day. She was so happy playing in the water and with some other dogs on the beach. I say she is a perfect dog by her actions. Even though she gets the short end of the stick, she is still the most lovable and loyal dog there is. She thought some girl out far in the ocean was me. She kept swimming (and whining) to get to me (her). You could tell she was really nervous for the girl who was way out there. Waves were crashing into Belle and she kept getting drug under the water but she wouldn't give up. I had to swim out to get her and let her know I was ok. And every time the boys got close to the water, Miss Belle was right next to their side. Scott or I would be next to them too but I guess we aren't good enough because she was watching over them. She is very protective. I love her and I am so proud she is part of our family. Here are some pictures of her playing in the water :)

"Are you ok?"
Preface: William pulled the drawstring out of my PJ pants. William is holding one end and Harrison is holding the other end. William is running and Harrison is trying his hardest to keep up.
Running...
Thump! (Harrison falls)
William: "Are you ok?"
Harrison: "hummph."
William: "You still want to play with me?"
Harrison: "hummph."
Running...
Thump!
William: "Are you ok?"
Harrison: "hummph."
William: You still want to play with me?"
Harrison: "hummph."
Running...
Thump!
You get the idea. I have heard this scenario about 50 times so far and they are still going.
