William's first lost tooth
baby tooth, now mine for keeping
Beneath your pillow, under your head
your tooth I took, your money I left
Your tooth is so shiny, so white, so bright
Keep brushing
I will return again in the night.
Love,
Tooth Fairy

William’s First Day of Kindergarten
Is this possible?! Wasn’t he just born? How does time fly by this fast? At orientation, William cried and cried and did not want to go to school. It was terrible. So I was expecting the worst the first day of school. He actually did very well. He made a new friend. The teacher kept the parents there for an hour and I think that was not a great idea. When it was time to leave, he held on tight and started crying. There was one other boy doing the same. I waited until I got out of the room before I had any tears of my own. And he has been fine ever since. Today I had to stop him from playing to get a hug and kiss from him.
I obviously took a lot of pictures on his first day. He woke up to a special breakfast!
Walking to school. Outside his classroom with Daddy.
At school with his buddy, Nicky. Look at how tall William is. He is in kindergarten and Nicky is in 2nd grade.
At his desk.
His first day is over. He was first in line and saw us right away when we picked him up. He had a great day. He made a necklace that reads, “I survived my first day of kindergarten.” He also made a picture frame of his first day. He said, “This is the best day ever!!!”
I surprised him with balloons when he got home from school. And Harry’s big surprise for him was talking Gramma and Grandpa into taking them to the JumpAround. lol. That kid can sell anything.
He loves school! Lets just hope it sticks!!!! I’m so proud of you William.
CarsLand California Adventure
Cars Land at Disneyland’s California Adventure is finally open!!! OMG, the place is amazing. Disneyland does such an amazing job with attention to detail on rides anyway but this attraction knocks it out of the park. Check out some of these pictures. Radiator Springs Racers is so awesome. The wait was long but the town followed by a race was really neat.
Radiator Springs at night. I couldn’t get a good picture with my phone.
One last Hoorah!
Summer is almost over :( Boo! William has started Kindergarten (post to follow). Harry starts Pre-K next Monday. He will be going full time this year. And I FINALLY found a job! I start Monday so our whole world is about to change. It has been a stressful few days trying to arrange everything. We have been stressing over the boys missing me but on top of that, being separated all day from each other. Plus we are having a hard time with before and after school care for William so currently we have him going to a separate place for before school than after school. It is just a lot to handle right now.
Grandpa and Gramma Archer came out to visit this past week. We were on the go the entire time. From the beach, to back to school shopping, playing and of-course visiting Disneyland!
Carsland is now open at California Adventure. That will have to be a separate post because of all of the pictures. But here is one of all of us riding Radiator Springs Racers (super fun ride).
The Mad T Party
Oh and they renovated “it’s a small world.” I have always loved this ride and now it is even that much more cool.
We enjoyed the fireworks show from our hotel room.
